The Harnds Eggplant HK2024 Series Outdoor Fixed-blade Knife is inspired by the shape of an eggplant. It's compact enough to fit in the palm of your hand, making it highly portable. It includes a sheath and paracord, perfect for carrying or wearing as a neck knife. With its rounded handle, it offers a comfortable grip, and the slightly curved blade is ideal for various tasks, especially for skinning and prepping fish and meat in outdoor settings. Building on the original design concept and product foundation, the HK2024 Special Edition features a lighter carbon fiber handle and sheath, with the blade upgraded to superior N690 stainless steel. Compared to the standard version, it is lighter and significantly sharper.
The blade is crafted from prime N690 stainless steel and it boasts a contemporary and refined plain-edge design, complemented by satin finish. The N690 is a high-quality stainless steel known for its excellent balance of hardness, corrosion resistance, and edge retention. It contains chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium, which enhance its overall performance. It is an excellent choice for making high-performance blades.
The full tang knife with carbon fiber scales on the handle. Carbon fiber is a lightweight, high-strength, corrosion-resistant, and heat-resistant material that reduces the knife's weight, enhances portability, and improves grip comfort and control, making it ideal for outdoor knife handles. This version features pure black and random patterns in red, yellow, blue, green, and champagne gold, showcasing a free-spirited and bold style.
The jimping on the spine of the blade. When in use, gripping the handle and placing the thumb on it while the index finger passes through the weight-reduction hole helps prevent slipping. This design not only enhances safety but also improves user comfort.
The sheaths for the HK2024 Eggplant Special Edition are crafted from lightweight carbon fiber, offering excellent blade protection while meeting diverse carrying needs. The porous design allows for pocket clips to be mounted in various positions, and the included lanyard makes it easy to wear the knife around the neck for everyday carry.
Equipped with two interchangeable pocket clips (AK4200 & AK4201), both made of high-quality 420J2 stainless steel, and designed to work with the porous design sheath, offering versatile carry options.
AK4200: With a hole spacing range of 17-21mm, it supports various installation and carry methods. It has moderate elasticity, making it easy to attach and remove. Suitable for belts, pockets, straps, shoulder straps, and webbing with a width of up to 32mm and a maximum thickness of 5.5mm.
AK4201: With a wider hole spacing range of 8-58mm, it is compatible with more attachment points and offers more installation and carry options. Its stronger elasticity allows it to securely hold even an A4 sheet of paper. Ideal for thinner belts, pockets, and MOLLE webbing, making it perfect for high-intensity outdoor activities.
